show

Required Command-Line Mode = Standard

Use the show command to view configuration and status information for GigaVUE‑OS nodes. Configuration commands in the CLI have corresponding show commands that display the configured values and the current status.

To match a keyword or a regular expression in the show command, use the option matching <regex> after the show command. You should type the keyword completely as the auto-fill option is not supported for the keyword. The command has the following syntax;

show <command> matching <regex>

<regex> is the regular expression to be used as a filter.

For example:

Example 1
show port params matching SFP

Example 2
show chassis matching down

Example 3
show running-config matching apps

Note:  For the following three commands, matching option is not available:
show cli history matching
show diag matching
show system matching

The device does not cancel an operation when <CTRL+C> is given after a show command instead the Command Line Interface shows an error message. In stand-alone devices, no other command should be issued after the <CTRL+C> command. You can use either of the workaround:

■   Reboot the device from the GigaVUE‑FM
■   Exit from the CLI session and then re-log

The following table describes the show commands:

show environment type psu psu-detail [all | psu-id]

Displays the PSU diagnostic attributes parameters for all the PSU modules or for the specified PSU module id (psu-id). Depending on the number of PSU modules in the chassis, psu-id can be 1, 2, etc.

The nomenclature for the power module parameter is as follows:

N/A - Not Applicable
OK - Fault has not set
Check - Fault has set
Read Err - Could not read

Rules and Notes

Keep in mind the following exceptions and limitations:

If a GigaVUE node is unable to read the product code of the Power Supply Unit (PSU) module, then all the PSU parameters will be displayed as N/A except the following parameters:
o Product Code
o Serial Number
o Hardware Revision
o Status
In addition to the above parameters, for GigaVUE‑HC3, the value for the "capacity" parameter will also be displayed as N/A.
Minimal output voltage (such as 0.63 V) and minimal output current (such as 0.2 A) is expected when the PSU module is in the "off" state. This behavior is due to a voltage leak. In GigaVUE‑HC3 node, the input under "voltage fault" is set only when there is a real under-voltage condition.
In some modules, the temperature fault is latched, which means that if an over-temperature condition occurs, the temperature fault is set. When the PSU temperature drops and remains within a safe range, the PSU module will shut down and will restore power automatically, but the temperature fault will remain set. The only time the fault setting is cleared is when the PSU is power-cycled. This behavior occurs in the following modules:
o GigaVUE‑TA200
o GigaVUE‑HC1
