GigaVUE‑HC3 Modules

With a variety of interchangeable modules and 3.2Tb throughput for CCv1 and 6.4Tb throughput for CCv2, GigaVUE‑HC3 nodes are ready to grow with your needs. The following modules offer port speeds of 10Gb, 25Gb, 40Gb, and 100Gb:

Modules are hot-swappable and can be installed in any of the available front bays in a GigaVUE‑HC3 node. However, refer to Module Removal and Replacement Procedure (Hot Removal) for instructions – you must follow a specific procedure when removing modules to preserve node stability.

Before installing modules in the node, the GigaVUE‑HC3 node must be running software version 5.0 or higher. Before installing the PRT-HC3-C16 module, the node must be running software version 5.4 or higher and be equipped with Control Card version 2 (CCv2).

Before installing the SMT-HC3-C08 module, the node must be running software version 5.13.xx or higher and be equipped with Control Card version 2 (CCv2).
