Install and Upgrade GigaVUE‑FM

You can install and upgrade the GigaVUE‑FM fabric manager on cloud or on-premises. You can also upgrade GigaVUE‑FM deployed in the OpenStack environment.

Cloud: To install GigaVUE‑FM inside your OpenStack environment, simply launch the GigaVUE‑FM instance in your Project. For installing the GigaVUE‑FM instance, refer to Install GigaVUE‑FM on OpenStack

Note:  You cannot upgrade your 5.7.00 or lower versions of the GigaVUE‑FM instance deployed in the OpenStack environment to GigaVUE‑FM 5.8.00 or higher versions. You must perform a fresh installation of GigaVUE‑FM 5.8.00 or higher versions.
