New GigaVUE-HCT The GigaVUE-HCT is the latest member of the GigaVUE HC Series. It is a small form factor: 8.4 in. (21.34 cm) wide and 12.5 in (31.8 cm) deep with dual external AC power adapters. It has a single module bay compatible with HC1 modules and 2x40/100Gb ports. The modules supported in 6.5 are:

Changes to the snapshot upgrade procedure for GigaVUE-FM deployed on AWS Starting from version 6.5, when upgrading the GigaVUE FM deployed on AWS using the snapshot method, instead of adding a new disk and attaching the snapshot, you should now attach the snapshot to volume 2, which is pre-existing during the deployment of GigaVUE FM. Virtual Application Metadata, Application Visualization, Application Filtering, NetFlow available in Monitoring Session You can now configure Application Metadata, Application Visualization, Application Filtering, NetFlow using the Monitoring Session page. You can also combine Application Metadata, Application Visualization, and Application Filtering with other applications in the monitoring session. You can use the old Application Intelligence Session only to view the details. It is recommended to migrate the old Application Intelligence Session to the Monitoring Session. |

Shutdown or Restart of OVS traffic GigaVUE‑FM allows you to stop or restart the traffic through OVS Mirroring based on the availability of V Series node. When the V Series node is unreachable or unavailable, mirroring can be stopped automatically or manually until the V Series is reachable or available. Cloud Overview Page in Individual Cloud Platforms The overview page in Individual cloud platform is a central location to view and monitor all the monitoring sessions in a single place. You can use this overview page to spot issues which will help in troubleshooting, or perform basic actions like view, edit, clone, and delete. This page provides a quick overview of basic statistics, V Series Alarms, Connection Status and Volume Usage vs Allowance and a table to summarize the active monitoring sessions details. You can also edit the monitoring session from this page instead of navigating to the monitoring session page in each platform. GigaSMART IP FlowVUE Support in HC1 Gen3, HC3 Gen3, and HC1-Plus. GigaSMART IP FlowVUE provides a representative view of traffic to security and monitoring tools. It allows flow-based filtering and sampling of traffic based on outer/inner IP address for troubleshooting purposes or for resolving challenges such as tools over subscription, optimal utilization of tool licensing etc. This is now supported in the following devices:

Support Custom Interface Selection for Filtering This feature allows you to provide IP addresses of the network nodes like SGW-C and SGW-U, which will be used for identifying the interface from where the traffic is originating and filtering the traffic based on the interface. A new gsparam is introduced in the CLI, which enables you to choose between the custom interface filtering option and the default 3GPP interface type IE-based filtering and populate an IP address profile. |
