Installing and Removing the SSD Card Procedure

To remove or install the primary SSD in a GigaVUE-HCT device, you will need to power OFF the system. Refer to the following sections for details:

Primary Disk

To remove the primary disk from the GigaVUE-HCT, follow the steps below:

1.

Locate and loosen the screw securing the M.2 SSD.

2.

Slide out the SSD tray located on the rear panel of the GigaVUE-HCT

3.

Carefully extract the M.2 SSD from its slot.

To install a new SSD module into the GigaVUE-HCT, follow the steps below:

1.

Slide it into the slot and push until it is fully inserted.

2.

Then, tighten the thumbscrew securely to fasten the module to the chassis.

Internal Secondary Disk

Note:  The GigaVUE-HCT includes a secondary disk that resides inside the chassis and is not externally accessible. This disk is reserved for future use.
