GigaVUE‑OS Security Hardening

To strengthen GigaVUE‑OS against security threats, Gigamon addresses known vulnerabilities, updates all OS components that enable remote access (such as Apache, SSH, SSHD, and OpenSSL), and examines the system for possible attack vectors. GigaVUE nodes run GigaVUE‑OS, which is hardened to address the following:

• SHA2-Based Signature in TLS/SSL Server X.509 Certificate
• Non-Standard SNMP Community Name

GigaVUE nodes run GigaVUE‑OS, which is hardened against the following:

• ICMP Timestamp Response
• TCP Timestamp Response
