Port Status LED

The Port LED operates as follows:

■

AMBER indicates the port is administratively disabled

■

GREEN indicates the link is operationally up

■

Off indicates the link is operationally down

■

Blinking GREEN indicates the port is operationally up and there is traffic flowing through the port

Note:  When SFP-501 (1 Gbps Copper Transceiver) is inserted the following LED status can be noticed;
- The Link light turns AMBER even if the port is administratively enabled. If the port is administratively disabled then the Link light would be OFF.

Note:  When Copper Cable is connected the following LED status can be noticed;
- The Link light turns GREEN when the port is enabled administratively and turns OFF when disabled administratively.
