Unpacking the GigaVUE-HCT Shipment
The GigaVUE-HCT node is shipped with an AC power adapter, a fan, and a filler panel installed. The chassis and parts kit are shipped in one box, and modules are shipped in separate boxes. Use the following procedure to unpack the node:
| 1. | Inspect the shipping boxes. If any cartons were damaged, file a claim with the carrier who delivered them. |
| 2. | Open the box containing the GigaVUE-HCT chassis and remove the parts kit from the top of the shipment. The parts kit contains the power cords, console cable, and power adapter. |
| 3. | Open the additional boxes containing the ordered modules and set them aside for assembly (each module is shipped in separate boxes). |
| 4. | Leave all protective filler panels in place in the chassis. DO NOT install the modules yet. Gigamon recommends rack-mounting the GigaVUE-HCT chassis empty. |
Power Adapter Models
There are two power adapter models such as ETA-USA, and TDK-Lamba. These power adapters are high-performance, reliable power supply solution designed for various industrial and commercial applications. It offers efficient energy conversion, robust protection features, and consistent power output to ensure optimal device operation.
The ETA-USA power supply is equipped with a switch to power it ON.
The TDK-Lambda power adapter does not have a switch to power it ON.
