Enable Validation of Certificate Revocation List

The Certificate Revocation List (CRL) Validation feature in GigaVUE-FM retrieves the CRL URL from a certificate in use and verifies if it has been revoked by the Certificate Authority (CA). If enabled, GigaVUE-FM blocks communication with nodes or devices that do not have a valid certificate.

To enable validation of certificate revocation list in the GigaVUE‑FM:

  1. Go to > Settings > System > Preferences.
  2. In the Security Settings, turn on the Validate Certificate Revocation toggle.

Enabling this setting ensures that the TLS connections established to GigaVUE-FM are validated against the CRL. GigaVUE-FM must be able to access the URL hosting the Certification Revocation List in order for this to work.

Note:   You must enable the Secure Access feature and the Certificate Revocation List Validation for proper validation.
