Introducing the GigaVUE-TA400 Chassis

The GigaVUE-TA400 chassis consists of a 1RU, rack-mountable, 32 of 400Gb/100Gb/ 40Gb QSFP-DD/ QSFP28/QSFP+ ports, dual hot-pluggable power supplies (AC/DC), seven hot swappable fan modules at the rear, console port and a 10M/100M/1G management port. The below figure shows the ports at the front of the GigaVUE-TA400 chassis. Refer to GigaVUE-TA400 Ports for a description of each of the ports.

Port

Description

Management

Use the Mgmt port for remote configuration of GigaVUE-TA400 Traffic Aggregator over a 10/100/1000 Ethernet network. Refer to installation guide for information on establishing an SSH configuration session with the GigaVUE-TA400 Traffic Aggregator.

Console

Use the Console port for local configuration of the GigaVUE-TA400 Traffic Aggregator over a serial connection. Refer to installation guide for information on establishing a serial configuration session with the GigaVUE-TA400 Traffic Aggregator in a terminal window.

USB

Use the USB port to upgrade software on the GigaVUE-TA400 using a software image on an external USB drive.

Ports D1..D32

The GigaVUE-TA400 provides 32 400Gb/100Gb/ 40Gb QSFP-DD/ QSFP28/QSFP+ ports. All ports support 4x100G breakouts D1C1..D32C4 with QSFP-DD DR4, DR4+(XDR4) optics and 4x25G, 4x10G breakouts D1X1..D32X4 with QSFP28, QSFP+ optics.
