App Insights

The App Insights dashboard provides the following insights:

Identifies widely visited applications and websites to isolate non-business traffic that may be consuming excessive network resources.

■

Audits crypto-inventory (SSL/TLS versions, expired certificates, and weak cipher suites) to ensure compliance with security policies.

■

Identifies DNS queries to review and block suspicious connections.

■

Detects application (HTTP 1.1) errors, such as bad requests (400), unauthorized access (401), forbidden requests (403), internal server errors (501), and gateway timeouts (502), to diagnose application performance issues.

Visualizations	Overview
App Overview	Displays heatmap of frequently used applications and protocols.
Top URL's	Displays the list of widely visited domains.
TLS info	Displays different SSL/TLS versions in use.
SSL Ciphers	Displays the list of widely used SSL/TLS cipher suites.
Expired TLS Certificate Details	Displays host IP address and key certificate details of servers using expired certificates.
Distribution of HTTP Error code	Displays client-side and server-side HTTP errors.
Top DNS Queries	Displays the percentage of queries for DNS name resolution.
DNS Rogue Servers	Displays all DNS servers, allowing users to review and selectively include servers they suspect to be rogue.
