Grace Period Behavior (from Software Version 6.1.00)
Gigamon offers a uniform grace period of 45 days from the day the license expires (applicable for term licenses). During the grace period:
- There is no impact to the flow of traffic.
- Creating new maps and editing existing map configurations are allowed.
- Appropriate notifications are displayed in GigaVUE-OS CLIand GigaVUE-FM.
At the end of the grace period, the license expires. You will not be allowed to create new maps or edit existing maps. The following tables summarizes the configuration behavior based on the state of the license for the different license types.
