GigaSMART Application Licenses

GigaSMART applications improve network visibility, traffic handling, and tool efficiency. You need licensing keys to enable GigaSMART applications in the devices. GigaSMART licenses can be procured as either node-locked or floating and are available in the following licensing models:

Licensing Modal	Description
Evaluation	Use an evaluation license to evaluate GigaSMART applications. During the evaluation period of 45 days, you will have access to the full functionality of the GigaSMART applications under evaluation. You can obtain an evaluation license for any GigaSMART application, for either a single or for a number of GigaSMART applications combined into a bundle.
Subscription	Few GigaSMART applications, such as De-duplication, Inline SSL, and Application Intelligence, are available only as bundles through a subscription license.
Perpetual	Perpetual licenses are node-locked to a specific card. These can be managed from CLI as well as GigaVUE-FM

GigaSMART licenses can be purchased individually or as bundles. Refer to the GigaSMART Data Sheet for the GigaSMART License SKU for the various devices.

Note:  Bundled features can only run on the corresponding GigaSMART hardware.
