IPv6 support for Precryption

This feature allows you to configure ciphers, key exchange algorithms (Kex), Message Authentication Codes (MACs), and HostKey algorithms for both the SSH client and server.

GigaVUE FM Core

Token-based Authentication
This feature verifies a user's identity for accessing the GigaVUE-FM REST APIs by generating tokens.
GigaVUE-FM allows you to generate a token only if you are an authenticated user and based on your privileges in accessing the GigaVUE-FM. You can copy the generated tokens from the GUI, which can be used to access the REST APIs. Token inherits the RBAC privilege (read or write) of the user groups assigned to a particular user.GigaVUE-FM enables the generation of multiple tokens and associates them with the corresponding user groups. If you have GigaVUE-FM Security Management privileges with write access, you can revoke other users' tokens but not view the created tokens.

Cryptography Mode in GigaVUE-FM

GigaVUE-FM can be configured to cryptography mode to improve the security of the management interface. In cryptography mode, weak TLS Ciphers are disabled by FM, thereby increasing the security. GigaVUE-FM will also run a self-test, to ensure the integrity of the system is not compromised.

Secure Tunnel Support in GigaVUE HC Series

Secure tunnels can now be configured in GigaVUE HC Series to receive traffic encrypted in PCAPng format over a TLS connection from a GigaVUE V Series node or from another GigaVUE HC series device. It is then further processed and sent to the respective tool(s). This feature is supported in the following:

AMI Flow Slicing

This feature allows you to export metadata for the first few packets per flow. You can specify the limit viz., 20 to 50, using the DPI Inject Attribute. It can reduce the load on the DPI engine thereby improving its performance.

CPS Data

The CPS data feature allows you to monitor the metadata flow creation and deletion rate.

Maximum Size of Exported Packets

This feature allows you to void packet fragmentation while exporting application metadata records. The packets are fragmented only when the configured Maximum Packet Length (per exporter) exceeds the corresponding IP interface MTU.
