GigaVUE-HCT Chassis Assembly

This section describes how to assemble the GigaVUE-HCT chassis as a single or dual unit using the rack mount kit (RMK-HCT00). The rack mount kit (RMK-HCT00) comes with two short rack ears, one long rack ear, a slide bracket, a slide rail bracket, a link plate, and 20 screws.

Decide whether you want to assemble single chassis or dual chassis in the rack. Use the following procedure to assemble the GigaVUE-HCT chassis:

Single GigaVUE-HCT Mounting Assembly

1. Install the short rack ear mounting bracket on the outer side GigaVUE-HCT chassis using the four short screws, as shown in the below figure.

   

2. Install the long rack ear mounting bracket on the GigaVUE-HCT chassis using the four short screws, as shown in the below figure.

   

3. Mount the GigaVUE-HCT chassis in the rack. Refer Rack-Mounting on GigaVUE-HCT

   

 

Dual GigaVUE-HCT Mounting Assembly

1. Install the short rack ear mounting brackets on the outer sides of the two GigaVUE-HCT chassis using the four short screws, as shown in the below figures.

   

2. Install the slide bracket on the inner side of the first GigaVUE-HCT chassis using the four short screws, as shown in the below figure.

   

3. Install the slide rail bracket on the inner side of the second GigaVUE-HCT chassis using the four short screws, as shown in the below figure.

   

4. Align the slide bracket on the first GigaVUE-HCT chassis with the slide rail bracket on the second GigaVUE-HCT chassis. Slide the slide rail bracket into the slide bracket, as shown in the below figure.

   

5. Flip the two units and Install the link plate on the chassis bottom that connects the two GigaVUE-HCT chassis using the four short screws, as shown in the below figure.

   

6. Mount the chassis pair in the rack. Refer Rack-Mounting on GigaVUE-HCT
