SMT-HC1-S (Gen 3 GigaSMART Card)

GigaVUE‑HC1-Plus now supports an additional module called the Generation 3 GigaSMART card (SMT-HC1-S) delivers up to 80Gb of performance throughput. There are no front-end ports in this module. 

The hot-swap button is not supported. But the modules are hot-swappable. Refer to Hot Swapping Modules for instructions.

Maximum Modules Per Chassis

The maximum SMT-HC1-S number of modules per chassis is two. 

Power LED (PWR)

The LED indicates the operational status of the module as follows:

● OFF means the node is not powered up.
● GREEN means the node is powered on.

Ready LED (RDY)

The LED indicates the operational status of the module as follows:

● OFF means the node is inserted but not yet configured.
● RED means the node has failed.
● GREEN means the node is ready.

H/S LED

The LED indicates the operational status of the module as follows:

● OFF means the node is in normal operation.
● BLUE means the node is ready to be removed when the card is shut-down or not configured. LED turns on at insertion of module.

Hot Swap Button

The hot-swap button is not supported, but the command "card slot <slot id> down" to hot-swap the module from the chassis.
