Required Command-Line Mode = Configure
Use the spine-link command to configure spine links, which are part of the configuration of the leaf and spine architecture with multiple paths for achieving high availability in a cluster environment. Refer to the “Multi-Path Leaf and Spine” chapter in the GigaVUE Fabric Management Guide for details.
The spine-link command has the following syntax:
spine-link alias <alias>
   comment <comment>
   port-list <port-list>
The following table describes the arguments for the spine-link command:

| alias <alias> | Specifies an alias for the spine link. For example: (config) # spine-link alias leaf1spine | 
| comment <comment> | Adds a comment to a spine link. Comments can be up to 128 characters. Comments longer than one word must be enclosed in double quotation marks. For example: (config) # spine-link alias leaf1spine comment “Leaf 1 Spine” | 
| port-list <port-list> | Specifies the list of stack GigaStream aliases in the spine link. Separate each alias with a comma. For example: (config) # spine-link alias leaf1spine port-list leaf1spine1gs,leaf1spine2gs |
