Configure Monitoring Session

The GigaVUE V Series node aggregates the traffic from multiple G-vTAP Agents and filters them using maps. It applies intelligence and optimization to the aggregated traffic using GigaSMART applications such as Flow Mapping®™, sampling, slicing, and masking, and distributes them to the tunnel endpoints. This chapter describes how to setup the tunnel endpoints to receive and send traffic from the GigaVUE V Series node, and how to filter, manipulate, and send the traffic from the GigaVUE V Series node to the monitoring tools or GigaVUE H Series node.
