Required Command-Line Mode = Configure

Use the hostname command to specify the GigaVUE H Series node’s hostname. The hostname will appear in the system prompt. It will also be used to form the return address of automatic notification emails sent from the system. Refer to email return-host under email for more information.

The hostname command has the following syntax:

hostname <hostname>
