New GigaVUE-FM GUI in 5.8
The GigaVUE-FM Graphical User Interface for software version 5.8 is enhanced for visual appeal, better navigation, and improved readability. This section provides an overview of these changes.

Changes in Login Page

Profile: The Profiles option in the Dashboard page allows you to customize the dashboard, as required.

Customized GigaVUE-FM Instance Title You can configure an instance name for your GigaVUE-FM instance.

If instance name is configured, both GigaVUE-FM and the name of the instance appears.

License Expiry Notification When you first open GigaVUE-FM, license expiry notification appears.

Changes in Navigation Paths
Navigation in GigaVUE-FM has been changed to improve usability and customer experience. Refer to the following sections for details:

Changes in Quick Views
A quick view provides easy access to Visibility Fabric details such as nodes, ports, and traffic policies. Click on Port ID, Map Alias, Port error counts and other such items to get detailed information about these items.
Figure 3 Quick View Option in GigaVUE-FM 5.8 shows the changes incorporated in quick view for GigaVUE-FM 5.8 release. If you expand the quick view, the page appears on top of the existing page (without navigating to the page). Click Edit to navigate to the port edit page.
